For over thirty years, the Spay-Neuter League, Inc. of Terre Haute has offered low-cost and affordable spay/neuter assistance programs to enable all pet owners/guardians to spay and neuter their animals. The League's goal is to eliminate euthanasia as a form of pet population control. The Spay-Neuter League is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization.

Spay/Neuter Assistance Programs

Spay-Neuter League currently promotes the Pet's Alive Clinic in Bloomington, IN, which is a monthly pet transport from Terre Haute, where surgery is performed at a reduced cost.

Pet Transport

Spay-Neuter League offers a spay/neuter transport to Pet's Alive Clinic in Bloomington, IN on the third Thursday of each month, excluding the month of December. Pets must be registered by their owners prior to transport. Registration is held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on the first and second Monday and second Saturday of each month (excluding holidays), at the Spay-Neuter League Office at 1403 Chestnut St., Terre Haute IN. (enter on the South side, up the ramp to the second floor). Dogs and cats must be at least 8 weeks of age, and weigh a minimum of 2 pounds.


Dogs (any size or gender) $53.00; Cats (any size or gender) $33.00; Rabies (is state required or owner must provide proof of current rabies at registration) $12.00; Other vaccines are available at owners request. * Fees are subject to change without notice.
